Adult use is legal in Minnesota
Minnesota legalized adult-use cannabis for people 21 and older. Licensed dispensaries like ours sell lab-tested flower, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, and topicals to adults with valid ID. The industry is regulated by the state's Office of Cannabis Management.
The basics every consumer should know
You must be 21+ with valid ID to purchase or possess cannabis. State law sets limits on how much you can possess in public and at home, and on the potency of edible servings. Consumption is allowed on private property (with the owner's permission) — not in public places, schools, or vehicles. Driving under the influence of cannabis remains illegal, full stop. And transporting cannabis across state lines is prohibited, even to states where it's legal.
Home cultivation of a limited number of plants is also permitted for adults, subject to statutory rules about where and how plants are grown.
Read the actual law
Rules evolve as the program matures, so go straight to the source. The current statutes live at Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 342 (revisor.mn.gov), and the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management publishes consumer guidance, license information, and program updates.
Our commitment to compliance
Hibbing Dispensary operates in full compliance with Minnesota law: every product is lab-tested, properly labeled, and sold in child-resistant packaging, and every customer is ID-verified at 21+. If you ever have a question about what's legal, ask us — and when in doubt, check the statutes above. This page is a plain-language summary, not legal advice.
